Halloween Ad Mats

It was one of those ebay "Buy It Now" purchases.  I had never heard of an "Ad Mat" and now I was buying a vintage catalog of them for $50.  I debated about clicking the "Buy It Now" button for a long time.  Would the holiday and Halloween ad images be as good as I had hoped? 

In the end, I'm glad I bought the catalog.  It shows hundreds of great old newspaper-ready ads for nearly all events and holidays.  The only problem is that the ink in the book is a medium blue, it was tough to scan and convert to black and white, but some of the results below make me feel it was all worth it - fantastic imagery.
