A Beistle Halloween
Heidi Kenney got to do something I've actually had dreams about - tour the Beistle Company and have a look through their archives. Amazing stuff, she's posting her experience on her blog - HERE.
And I'm serious - I've had dreams that I've been able to see things like this. Heidi has made my dream a little bit closer to reality.

FAIR WEATHER AHEAD
Very lucky this year, in Los Angeles (well, the valley) it is forecast to be 76 degrees on Halloween, going down to a low of 56 and it will be SUNNY and CLEAR all day, no chance of rain at night. My hope is the same great weather for all haunters worldwide!

BEST HALLOWEEN NEWS EVER!
I've hoped that Beistle would do this for nearly 20 years now. And it's happened - they are remaking many of their vintage Halloween designs. I remember they made "the walking witch" design in the 90s and did quite a few more designs later on, but now they seem to be going ahead full steam - and I can't be happier. Christmas arrived in September for me!
BEST HALLOWEEN EVER!
Thank you Beistle Co.! You are amazing!

Updating Zazzle Site
I've been busy updating my Zazzle Vintage Halloween and Spookshow Stores with new products and images. I love the quality of Zazzle's products. I wrote the poem on the vintage looking Halloween invitation seen above many years ago. As I recall, I was nearly channeling Endora from "Bewitched" as far as coming up with the exact wording.

Pumpkin Carving - October 1966
Carving Jack O'Lanterns with my Mom and brothers - October 1966. I'm the one on the left in the red shirt. Must have pulled the collar up trying to make my own "Nehru" shirt. Most years, my Mom would drive us out to the farmlands and farmers would be selling pumpkins from their homes. So much more fun than buying them from a supermarket.

The Narrative of Victor Karloch
Fascinating. I was in a small market last week and saw someone wearing a t-shirt for this play/film. I'd never heard of it, but found clips on the Internet. Beautiful, with beautiful music!
See the clip on Vimeo HERE.
